On 31st October in Cividale we are celebrating the "Gnot dai Muarts" (the night of the deads), taking up the ancient Celtic tradition of the night of “Samhain”, which celebrated the end of summer: the harvests were now done, the animals had returned to the stables, and the 'dark season' was approaching. Therefore, 31 October for our ancestors was a time of passage and 1st November was the Celtic New Year’s first day.
That’s why we are opening on Tuesday evening, 31st October, as of 6 p.m.
On 1st November, we are open with our normal business hours.
We look forward to seeing you!
